So I've been anxiously awaiting the arrival of 4:20 for a couple of weeks now, I decided to post on the history of this "holiday" to enlighten the massive amount of band wagoners that are coming out the wood works to be a pothead for 1 Day...
4:20 is another day for Stoner's like myself to gather and consume cannabis
but there is an old story behind the "Holiday"
The term stems from a group of teenagers who attended San Rafael High School in San Rafael, California that would gather at 4:20pm after school at the Louis Pasteur statue to get high.
The group of Stoner's called themselves the "Waldos" because they would hang out by a wall after school and meet by the statue at 4:20pm to hunt for an abandoned crop of Marijuana near Point Reyes....they never found the stash, but they got High as Hell trying.
